Piano Jens Marbella – A Life in Music: From Global Stages to the Costa del Sol
Hi! I’m Jens-Ebert Nordbjerg — though around here, most people just call me Piano Jens. My life has been defined by music: from childhood practice sessions to performing on stages across the globe, and now to my home base in Marbella, where I teach, produce, and perform.
These days, I divide my time between running a piano and music production studio in Bel-Air and offering lessons across Marbella, San Pedro, and Estepona. Whether you’re new to the piano or ready to refine your craft, I’d love to help you experience the joy of music in your own way.
What I Offer – Lessons for Every Level and Style
🎹 Beginner Piano Lessons
Learn the fundamentals — posture, hand position, note reading, and simple melodies. Lessons are fun, friendly, and tailored to build confidence step by step.
🎼 Advanced Instruction
Refine your technique, tackle more complex repertoire, or deepen your musical understanding. We’ll set real goals and reach them together.
🧒 Piano Lessons for Kids
Children thrive when learning feels like play. My approach keeps lessons engaging and motivating — no pressure, just progress.
👨🎓 Adult Piano Lessons
It’s never too late to learn. I help adult learners stay consistent, focus on the music they love, and fit lessons into busy lives.
🎷 Jazz Piano
Explore rhythm, improvisation, and expressive playing. Jazz is about making the piano your own — and it’s a cornerstone of my method.
🎻 Classical Piano
Learn to interpret the timeless works of Chopin, Mozart, Beethoven, and others. Ideal for students who love structure and tradition.
🌍 Online Piano Lessons
I offer flexible Zoom and Skype lessons — perfect for frequent travelers or international learners.
🎧 Music Production Lessons
I teach Logic Pro and music production for artists and creatives — combining theory, keyboard skills, and modern software tools.
Flexible Learning – In Studio, At Home, or Online
My studio in Bel-Air is a quiet, creative space where students can focus and grow. I also offer mobile lessons, traveling to homes in:
- Marbella
- Nueva Andalucía
- Guadalmina
- San Pedro
- Estepona
For those farther afield or with tight schedules, online lessons are always available.
Beyond the Piano – Music Theory & Production
In addition to performance and piano instruction, I teach:
- Music Theory – to help students understand and analyze music more deeply.
- Music Production – including DAW workflows, MIDI programming, arranging, mixing, and more.
These lessons are ideal for aspiring artists, producers, or anyone who wants to bring their musical ideas to life.
My Teaching Style – Practical, Supportive, and Results-Driven
I’ve been described as approachable, structured, and encouraging. I challenge students to grow while making sure learning remains enjoyable. Whether we’re working on a jazz solo, a Beethoven sonata, or a custom Logic Pro session, I aim to make every lesson meaningful.
How It All Began
Music has been a lifelong passion. I started piano as a child and never looked back. For years, I served as musical director of ABBAMAX, an ABBA tribute show that toured internationally, including as a Royal Caribbean headliner. Those years gave me a deep understanding of music performance, production, and audience connection.
Eventually, I realized I wanted to share that knowledge in a more personal way — not just on stage, but in lessons that could truly change someone’s life.
Why I Teach
Teaching is my way of giving back to music. It’s about helping people discover their own voice at the piano, whether they’re pursuing a dream or simply enjoying the process.
I believe anyone can learn music with the right mix of encouragement, structure, and inspiration. My mission is simple: make music accessible, fun, and deeply rewarding — no matter your age or experience.
Let’s Meet at the Piano
Whether you’re a beginner, an advanced player, a singer looking for accompaniment, or a budding producer — I’m here to help you grow.
If you’re in the Marbella area and want to explore piano, music production, or theory, let’s have a chat. I’d love to hear your story and help you write your next musical chapter.
Thanks for reading – and I hope to see you at the piano soon!
