What I Teach
Hi, I’m Jens-Ebert Nordbjerg – but most people just call me Piano Jens. I’ve been helping students of all ages and levels grow as musicians for over 30 years, both in Marbella and around the world.
From performing as a headline act on cruise ships to producing music for international artists and brands, my musical journey has been full of variety. Today, I teach piano and music production from my studio between Estepona and San Pedro, as well as online.
Whether you’re just starting out or preparing for your next exam or performance, I’ll help you gain real musical fluency—with lessons that are structured, creative, and enjoyable.

Background & Experience
I began piano at age six in Denmark and later earned a Diploma in Musical Direction and Band Leadership from Rytmisk Center in Copenhagen, where I subsequently taught.
Professional highlights:
- Headlined Royal Caribbean cruise ship productions for more than 15 years
- Serving Musical Director of ABBAMAX, a touring ABBA tribute production performing in European theatres and on international cruise ships
- Toured extensively across Europe performing jazz, pop, and rock
- 4 years as Producer at Flying Frogs Recording Studio
- Produced music for international brands and labels including EMI, Red Bull, Universal and Saatchi
- Created professional backing tracks and live show productions for singers and tribute acts
- Taught more than 500 local and international students, working in English, Spanish, Danish, and German
Jazz Piano Performance in Marbella
This studio performance of “Stella by Starlight” shows my background as a jazz pianist, improviser, and live performer. It also reflects the practical musicianship behind my piano lessons in Marbella, San Pedro, Estepona, and online.

Beyond teaching and performing, I support singers, songwriters, and performers with tailored production services, vocal coaching, and practical musical direction – from early demos to stage-ready shows.

While my studio is based between in Bel-Air near Benavista, I also teach online via Zoom — so distance is never a problem.
Absolutely. Many of my students are adults who are rediscovering their passion for music. I structure lessons to match your pace, interests, and experience.
Yes. As a live performer and Musical Director for ABBAMAX, I offer performance coaching and stage readiness training, tailored to both solo and group performers.
