Meet Jens – Pianist, Producer & Passionate Educator

Hi, I’m Jens-Ebert Nordbjerg—but most people just call me Piano Jens. I’ve been helping students of all ages and levels grow as musicians for over 25 years, both in Marbella and around the world.

From performing as a headline act on cruise ships to producing music for international artists and brands, my musical journey has been full of variety. Today, I teach piano and music production from my studio between Estepona and San Pedro, as well as online.

Whether you’re just starting out or preparing for your next exam or performance, I’ll help you gain real musical fluency—with lessons that are structured, creative, and enjoyable.

My Teaching Style

I started piano at age six in Denmark and earned a diploma in Musical Direction and Band Leading from Rytmisk Center in Copenhagen, where I later taught.

Over the years, I’ve:

  • Headlined cruise ship shows with Royal Caribbean for 15+ years

  • Served as MD of ABBAMAX – a high-end ABBA tribute show

  • Toured across Europe performing jazz, pop, and rock

  • Produced music for EMI, Red Bull, Universal & Saatchi

  • Helped 50+ local and international students reach their goals

Background & Experience

I started piano at age six in Denmark and went on to earn a diploma in Musical Direction and Band Leading from Rytmisk Center in Copenhagen, where I later taught.

Over the years, I’ve:

  • Headlined Royal Caribbean cruise shows for 15+ years

  • Served as Musical Director for ABBAMAX (touring EU theatres and cruise ships)

  • Produced music for artists, shows, and major brands (EMI, Red Bull, Saatchi)

  • Created live shows and backing tracks for singers and tribute acts

  • Taught students of all levels across four languages (English, Spanish, Danish, German)

Alongside teaching, I support singers, songwriters, and performers with tailored production services and vocal coaching—from demos to stage-ready shows.

Yes! I offer a hybrid course that combines piano technique, theory, and real-world music production using Logic Pro. It’s perfect for artists who want to build confidence both at the keys and in the studio.

While my studio is based between in Bel-Air near Benavista, I also teach online via Zoom — so distance is never a problem.

Absolutely. Many of my students are adults who are rediscovering their passion for music. I structure lessons to match your pace, interests, and experience.

Yes. As a live performer and Musical Director for ABBAMAX, I offer performance coaching and stage readiness training, tailored to both solo and group performers.
